The Valhallan-Belt of the Long-Earth Multiverse is named for city of Valhalla located at about the center of the belt, the largest area of human civilization in the western-arm of the High-Meggers of the Long-Earth. Every iteration of the planet Terra in the Valhallan-Belt is located in the western-arm of the Long-Earth.

The Valhallan-Belt encompasses the three sub-belts of the Long-Earth:

  • The Tethys-Belt: named after the ancient Tethys Sea that existed on the Datum-Earth. The Mesoamerican sub-continent does not exist and so a continuous waterway wraps around the whole planet, the global currents allow for warmer oceans and trees exist from one pole to the other.
  • The Folkvangr-Belt: the central core of the Valhallan-Belt, being roughly one hundred-thousand steps in either direction of Valhalla. Named for the field of Folkvangr ruled over by Freya, Norse-Goddess of Love, where half of those slain in combat reside; the counterpart of the hall of Valhalla ruled over by Odin, King of the Norse-Gods, where the other half of those killed in battle go after death.
  • The Venus-Belt: named after the Venus-like conditions of these worlds. The climate of these worlds are far more arid and much warmer than the average Terra but not as dry and more temperate than the actual environment of Venus.

Span of the Valhallan-Belt: Earth-West 1,200,000 to Earth-West 1,650,000

  • Span of the Tethys-Belt: Earth-West 1,200,000 to Earth-West 1,300,000
  • Span of the Folkvangr-Belt: Earth-West 1,300,001 to Earth-West 1,520,000
  • Span of the Venus-Belt: Earth-West 1,520,001 to Earth-West 1,650,000
